Summer Self-Care for Massage Therapists: 8 Wellness Tips to Beat the Heat

As a massage therapist, your well-being is just as important as the care you provide to others. The summer season brings unique physical and environmental challenges—rising temperatures, busier schedules, and increased fatigue—which can take a toll if you’re not intentional about self-care. Here’s how to stay energized, balanced, and healthy through the warmer months:

1. Hydrate Often and Well

Summer heat can quickly lead to dehydration, which affects energy levels and focus. Aim to drink water consistently throughout the day, especially between sessions.
